How to Uninstall Messenger

Press and hold any app on your Home screen. If you want to uninstall the Messenger app on your iOS device, press and hold any app on your Home screen until they all start shaking.

Tap the "X" next to the Messenger app on your Home screen. You'll be prompted to confirm that you want to delete the app.

Use the Facebook mobile site to check your messages. For now, you can still view your Facebook messages on the mobile version of the site.
